Code: ‘dot’ & Dated 1944 – Serial #3876 – Gun is a Very Tight & Dry Because it Has Been Put Away for a Long Time – Receiver, Butt Stock, Barrel Shroud & Buffer Assembly Are All Matching #3876 – The Bolt, Feed Tray, Top Cover & the 24” Barrel Are Mismatched Numbers Which is Not Uncommon as These Weapons Parts Were Widely Used in Between MG-34 Guns to Keep Them Functioning During the War Due to Heavy Use. Gun Has Original Sights, a Folding Bi-Pod, The Left Bakelite Grip is Broke & the Right is Complete. There is an Extra Set of Grips Accompanying This Gun – Overall Condition of the Gun Retains a Large Amount of Original Finish w/the Usage & Handling Marks as to be Expected.
